Would you like to have proof that you won't go to hell for being gay?

Question

There are those who state that God made them Homosexuals,well God made me Heterosexual.
If I decide to practice my heterosexual desires outside of marriage which can only be between a man and a woman then I have commited Adultery and that is a death sin.Its the same with those who are homosexuals, if you decide to go out and practice these sinful desires you have commited a death sin.But as long as you and I deny the flesh we are saved,Praise God!!

Isn't it just wonderful that God has made away for all of us to be saved if we will only deny ourselves' pick up our cross and follow Him who has saved us.We might feel that we are suffering but our suffering could never compare to His, and He done that for us that we might be saved.How can we deny Him and submit to our own selfish desires after what He has done?

You may not go to hell for being "Gay", however, remember, if you have lustful thoughts towards a man, such as wanting to have sex with them, then it is a sin.
Also, the bible says "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24) I don't think there's much room for interpretation with this verse. You marry the opposite sex, not the same sex, and even if you marry the same sex, consider this verse "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (Leviticus 20:13) So, even married homosexuals can't have "sex" as it is still wrong.
You can ask for healing, and God will heal you. Also, shock therapy has been used to realign the mind the right was as it was designed. And it never occures the other way arround.

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

Don S - you are a bit right, but mostly wrong. Practicing illicit heterosexual sex is just as bad as practicing homosexual sex. They are all sins, and all deserve hell.

However, if you are saying that people have homosexual desires and that proves that homosexual behavior is ok, then you need to think a little bit. People have desires to do all kinds of things that God prohibits. Maybe I really want to steal those cool shoes my neighbor is wearing, and I don't have enough money to buy them myself. Since God gave me the desire for those shoes is it ok to steal them? Obviously not.

It's the same issue with homosexual behavior. Just because you have a desire to do something does not make it right. The Christian answer, if you care, is that we are all infected with sin - and sin perverts our proper desires. Originally, in the garden, there was no homosexual desire, illicit heterosexual desire, or desire to steal our neighbors shoes - but since the fall, there are many things that we want that are not according to God's standard.
