I have heard from a few sources that this is true and a few that it isn't. Any ideas?

Absolutely not.

There is no court in the United States that would accept a sticker on a vehicle as probable cause.

Anybody who tells you that is full of it. You can put whatever on your vehicle as long as it does not impede vision or the operation of the vehicle.

So you get pulled over. The charge would be "having a Led Zep sticker"? No it would have to speeding or something else.

Here's the thing. A car is an investment so putting sickers on it says much to the police. It amazes me that those who are young, not experienced drivers or smoking something put stuff on their cars. Do what you will but why would you wish to stand out in the crowd?

Relate it to a bar or club. You could be the biggest offender in the world but clean cut, no tatoos, piercings or whatever. But who are they going to suspect....... it will be those who have all of that. Same with a vehicle.

The only people who say they will be pulled for a specific sticker are paranoid and baked.

Yes that is true. And in 42 states having a Michael Jackson CD in your car is grounds for arrest on suspicion of child molesting. And a Captain & Tennile bumper sticker is a capital offense if 5 states.

Not true. A sticker doesn't mean probable cause.

No, but there is one bumper sticker that appeals equally to both Republicans and Democrats.

"Run, Hillary, Run!"

The Democrats are putting them on the rear bumpers and Republicans are putting them on the front bumpers.
