what does it do/help? i just had surgery and the doc told me i can lift, but to do light weights, cuz i cant strain my neck, and im worried ima loose my muscle, please help, thank you

light weight and high reps is good for increasing endurance and in your case recovery from injury. it does not cause a substantial increase in the metabolic rate after exercise so it is not optimum for fat loss.

the diet ultimately determines how much muscle loss may occur. if you keep eating healthy you won't lose any muscle mass.

lifting light weights and doin a lot of reps helps not to get bigger muscles....but to tone your muscles and strengthen them without getting jacked......your muscles will over a period of time become really defined and toned......but not big

your not going to lose much muscle during the recovery of a surgery.

the light weights is due to the surgery you had, which you didn't mention

pounding out your meat will help healthier portions go a longer way visually and its good stress relief

skip the cheese on your burger and choose lettuce and tomato instead
