Ever since my little brother got out of prison my whole family has been targets--the cops make it incredibly clear that all the "special attention" we're getting right now is because of him--we're honest, law abiding people with no records of our own, and suddenly we've been getting pulled over twice a week so that they canm ask us what he's been up to, where he is, etc.--he's been working and sleeping and that's it--this is an impossible situation and I need to take some kind of action

You probably need to seek out legal counsel. In the mean time write down time, date, place, and the officer's name and number each time this happens. If you have a record it is considered evidence in a court of law. I pray you are able to find help soon.

Hit them the place it hurts. shop a log of each and all of the harassment or perhaps tape record them in case you are able to. Then bypass and report a complaint with the police branch, NOW in case you reside in a small city i don't recognize how nicely which will help. i could then bypass to the county affairs and report a complaint with them..

Contact an attorney. Document the stops, and conversations. Pay particular attention to who the officers are. They have to have probable cause to pull you over.

You get a lawyer. Always get a lawyer when you are dealing with the cops and they aren't going to like it.
