I'm Christian and I love Halloween. It's a blast, but then I know the difference between harmless fun, Pagan rituals, and devil worshiping.

when Christianity first moved into Europe where the pagan religions Christianity first made friends with the pagan religion by adopting their holidays and many of their gods and goddesses as early Christian Saints. It's not a coincidence that Christmas is the same time as Yule for example. Paganism and Wicca are much more female oriented. OK so then they adapted the religion started teaching people that Pagans and Witches were evil. The image of the Devil is taken from a pagan god. Anything bad was taught to be the work of witches. So Christians are afraid of things they perceive to be pagan because they have been taught to by centuries of tradition and belief.
Halloween is the Pagan new year. Samhien, it has been changed to what it is today and children dressing up and going out does not really reflect the reality of the holiday either.

relatively, Halloween started as a Pagan trip. So relatively, that could make you a hypocrite, does no longer it? no longer basically that, yet you would be an unlearned hypocrite. to boot, Halloween isn't celebrated (for the main area) with any non secular meaning anymore. that's approximately dressing up and getting candy. Oh, and that i've got by no ability long previous on and on approximately Christian's celebrating Christmas and Easter. What are you speaking approximately? Why do you people attempt to attack those with diverse perspectives than yours each and all of the time. especially once you many times say something unlearned and erroneous.

The reason why is because for years the church has said that anything other thank what they teach is wrong and is the work of the devil. Then, they say that there is one day in the year that is just for the devil.
Years ago, the church actually supported Halloween. Just like they supported the pentacle (called the seal of Solomon at the time), but now, the pentacle is "the sign of the devil" and Halloween is "the Devil's day".
Go figure.

This Christian is not afraid of Halloween or anything else pagan. When you have God there is no need to fear anything.
You can have all the fun you want. Just remember that you are responsible for the choices you make.

Halloween’s traditions are mostly Catholic today. The calibration did originate though in Paganism. Many Christians don’t feel good with partaking in Halloween because they want to be seen as pure and separate from all non-Christian things. All views must be respected with dignity though.

I don't think it's a matter of fear. I think it's more of a matter of influence. Like how will pretending to be a zombie or a vampire influence my kids.
You've been hanging around the wrong Christians. My Christian friends are a blast. We laugh like you wouldn't believe.

I am not afraid of halloween, just trying to show people that they need to stay clear of celebrating it. I know it appears fun, but in the end it can bring you into a bondage.

It's not just Christians. If one has a spiritual conscience, they may ponder the idea of appeasing dead souls for,,, who?
Honestly, I could dress up like a freak and enjoy it everyday, but that's me. Reminds me of a song by Ministry - Everyday is Halloween
