According to Matthew 1:18, it came from the Holy Ghost. I didn't know that ghosts had DNA, but I guess the Holy Ghost is an exception. Jesus was lucky he didn't end up being a freak. When angels and humans interbred in Genesis they produced giants. Jesus should have been HUGE.

This may come as some surprise, but God did not use any of Mary's ovum. I was reading a book about someone's mystical experience, and through some conversations with God, found that Jesus was made from three drops of blood taken from her heart.
Now that the bible is mostly a symbological truth rather than a literal truth, it kind of fits right in. God would in no way invade a person without their permission, and nor would He invade a person in an ordinary way. It was through her invitation, and also through perfect alignment with the Will of God that this occured. There was nothing ..distasteful or crass about it
