By refusing to follow the Eightfold Path you are depriving yourselves of the bliss of Enlightenment and the eternal peace of Nirvana. Instead, you prefer to suffer the deceipts of Maya and the tortures of Samsara. For shame.

But it's not too late! Change your life today by reading the holy sutras of Tripitaka, the words of the Buddha himself.

Remember, there is only one true Trinity in this world and it is the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha.

Yes, and all remember Buddha was a person, but "Buddha" merely means enlightenment.

Relying on heaven and God are dependents and are causes of suffering, themselves!

Buddhism holds the truths and is near flawless in argument.

Zenbull, maybe we can open a few minds here

You presume that Christians do not follow the Eightfold Path, nor the Five Precepts. But you are wrong. By not seeing the underlying truth you are falling victim to deception yourself. You should read "Living Buddha, Living Christ." We have more in common than our differences might indicate.

Peace to you.

My church does not, in any way, mock Buddha or Buddhist teachings. In fact, there are several high-ranking individuals in my denomination who've studied Zen, and have authored books about it. They're still involved in the church, so it would seem that the church doesn't have any problem with its members studying various forms of Buddhism. We can learn from traditions other than our own.

They prefer to believe in the mumbo jumbo of a book that ws published some 2000 years ago.... Whilst some of the characteristics of the book maybe founded in humanistic simple thought, the vast majority of it is wicked, erroneous and seeks to take over the precious gift of independent thought.....

Take for instance the belief that is held up to today that the hebrews are God's chosen people... take that to it's logical conclusion and the premise that we are all god's children, doesn't that sound as if God is flawed to make millions of people of different races and creed and then settle on one minority as his chosen people......? MUMBO JUMBO.

Yeah we don't believe in dead people, their corpses must be re-animated first. Then they must appear to some of us in hallucinations and tell mythical, unoriginal stories with no historical merit.

We don't believe in dead people, for our Saviour is risen. Also we are saved from our own sins by our Saviour's sacrifice.
