I like this question, according to Dora L its a dumb question, and it hurts her brain to think about it. Well that says allot about people who don't want to think, that's a great way to get through life. Marco gave the best biblical account, but it only begs another question. How could HIS parents who knew how special he was leave town without him. I mean these weren't the most safest streets. 2000 year old Middle East male foolery has made millions of sheeple go GA GA. It is very interesting how little information there is of the younger life of the son of a GOD. Can you say Thomas Gospel.

The word "beginning" has many different means. When are born we in this physical body know nothing of our ID. But when He become old enough to know and understand what His Father revealed to Him-it would from that point He knew that how "special" He was. Now if you are talking about before coming to earth, at time He also knew He was "special".

I think that as soon as the question formed itself in his mind, He must have known it. However, as a baby, since He was fully human, He would not have had the capacity to formulate questions like that. Remember, the Bible does say that He grew in wisdom and stature.
However, any idea of Him gradually coming to the realization, perhaps being told by other people, is out of bounds. The only way it makes sense is that, as soon as He had the ability to ask the question "Am I God?" He would have known the answer was "Yes."

If you were a spirit creature from the beginning of time and sit at the right hand of God and then put into a human body.
I think you would know it from day one. don't you think his parents told him? I mean an angel came to Mary and told her he was the messiah. She was still a virgin she had to know that and she was pregnant. In the middle east that is talked about openly. That hymen seems to be of all out importantce.
Then when they had to flee and go down into Egypt?
By then he would have known, Satan was out to get him.

No, I think he grew up being a regular kid. Mary & Joseph seemed like they were pretty grounded and humble & I think they raised Jesus to be the same way. So, I think even when he found out about himself, he wouldn't get pompous about it. He probably felt special, but only in the way that most moms & dads make their kids feel so special.

He got his first clue when he went to drink a glass of water and ended up getting a little tipsy on the wine that appeared in his glass.
His 2nd clue came when he went swimming with his friends and got a skull fracture when he tried to dive in.---After that he just walked on the surface of the water.
However, his friends were already suspicious when they saw him make a sandwich using a couple of stones for the bread.

I've read somewhere, and can't remember where, that as a young boy, he was very similar to the other children at that time. Even got into some mischievous trouble a time or two.
As he grew into his teenage years I think he stated to realize that he was different.

From what the Bible says, lead a pretty normal life until he was 12 years old. He even had a job as a carpenter.
I don't think he truly knew when he was very young and was able to experience a "regular" child hood.

I think that if you were told that your mother was a virgin you would begin to think you were special. Yes he probably felt like the portrayal of a young superman.

I don't think Jesus really knew how much he would have an impact on the world his entire time here. I think he was just doing what he thought was right and never realized who he was and how much he would mean to people.
