Is there not self made oppression that you see, and then they try to blame some scripture that was send as a mercy and guidance.
Isn't that what this fear Allah SWT was talking about, the fear that you make for yourself?

fear is stimulus, response. you focus on the response and ignore the stimulus. are you really so blind?
