I'd be more inclined to believe them if at least some of them predicted bad luck as well.....something like "Don't get out of bed tomorrow, as it'll be a really bad day".

Funny you should ask this as it is the topic of the Andy Griffith show on TV Land right now!

No I do not by the way. Elsewise would not every one be a winner of the lottery playing their numbers? Plus, should not your numbers be the same every time? Lastly Fortune Cookies are American and not Asian.

hmm...idk it can sometime be a close call. i knew someone who got a blank piece of paper in their cookie, another person got a message saying "your fate is in another cookie", and my twin picked out a cookie that had a fortune in it, then my little brother wanted one so my twin picked one out and it was the same message. as a general rule i dont believe what is said on a fortune cookie but these were weird occurances.

Not at all. I received, twice, a fortune that mentioned something about my wife. First, I'm not married. Second, I'm a straight woman.

I find if you add the words "in bed" after aver fortune I read, it seems to be a bit more accurate!

LOL...NO! Most of them aren't even "fortunes" but statements. They're just for fun, not made to be taken seriously.
