Yes, but only if the animal is a crocodile or a shark and you have to be naked with no weapons but your bare hands.

I do hope no animals were harmed in the framing of this question...
Do you really think that torturing animals would be "fun"? Because that would be sadistic, and sick...

And the answer is no, it is not OK. The Bible doesn't say it isn't a sin to dig a hole in the ground in front of your back door, either...but I wouldn't advise it. Your common sense ought to tell you that a hole right where you step out of your house would be a bad idea, since you would fall into it, and possibly break your leg.
I didn't have to dig a hole outside my door to know this.
And I didn't have to torture any animals to know that it would not be fun, either.

If you don't want or intend to harm animals, why would you even ask such a question? Sounds pretty hypocritical. Is this something you think about a lot? Sure you said you don't want or intend to, but some people do things without intending to; sometimes they don't even realize what they've done until it's too late. Perhaps you should seek some therapy.

MG,
We are told to follow the laws of our country in the New Testament. Those laws generally include NOT torturing animals, at least in the USA. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

I never listen to what the bible tells me--it's wrong to do because it's just plain stupid--that should be reason enough not to.
