Some eyes improve, some continue to degrade. I don't think anyone can predict with certainty what will happen in your case.

Do you mean the power of your glasses is increasing meaning your eye sight is getting worse? If so, contacts usually help slow that process. Also it depends on how old you are. Usually peoples eyes continue to get worse until they are about in their mid teens then stablize for a while then get worse as you go into your 40's. I agree with the above answer about resting and not watching too much TV or spend too much time in front of a computer. Another thing that might help is making sure you get plenty of omega 3,6,&9 oils in your diet. They are good for eye health.

with contacts ure eye level won't increase as much because the focus is better because itz closer to ure eye. Also, with glasses sometimes they fall down or blurry cuz they're dirty and that is part of the reason it increases. eg. i got glasses just before the fourth grade since then it increased by 100 every year. i got contacts before the 6th grade and a year after i got cons, it had increased very little and the same has happened since. However u can only wear contacts for 10 years bcuz after that if u wear it any longer itz not good for ure eyes becuz ure eyes need to breathe too. just keep that in mind

No. Contact lens wear will not improve or stabilize your vision.

You are still growing, and your prescription will likely increase until that stops sometime in your early 20's.

I know that isn't the news you wanted to hear, but once you wear glasses, the exact power isn't really much of an issue.

Do you mean your eyes are getting worse?

Failing vision is a progressive degeneration as you age. Sometimes it stops and stays constant, but typically the older you get, the worse your eyes get.

Nearsightness is usually caused by weak eye muscles and eye shape irregularities. Sometimes if some of these improve, your eyesight may appear to get slightly better.

No, contacts are bad for your eyes.

No. Hard contacts did have that effect, but don't go there, they have other problems you don't want to deal with. Your vision changes because as you grow your eye is squeezed out of shape. Usually as you grow older, if you are near sighted your vision will get better with age after 50. LOL one of nature's tricks. However, if you are far sighted it usually goes the other way. I think this is caused by the declining bone structure around your eye.

This is because usually, before you had glasses, you were probaly straining to see far away things. You worked your optical muscles to the point where they were lacking power. Now that you have glasses, you dont have to strain anymore, making so that you are giving you muscles the time to recover

your muscles are probally increasing their strength because your glasses have allowed your eyes to not work as hard - letting your muscles build up ( eye doctor told me this when i was younger ) as far as the contacts - i honestly dont know - good luck with needing no eye gear -
