Hey, i can't think of anything specific but there is a lot of stuff on the internet. For my sweet 16, i got ideas online (i think the website was called partygirl) Anyways, try google and good luck!
O, u might want to ask the 11yr old if she wants a Halloween party or not (she might want a different theme than the same ol' same ol')

I didn't get to do it, but for my niece, we wanted have a "Make It A Party Party" we were going to get a bunch of little crafty kits (2 -3 per person), Make It Yourself snackables (crackers, meats, cheeses), a cupcake station (instead of a birthday cake) and a sundae bar. Now I'm also seeing Candy Bars at parties.
we were going to do a "make it" scavenger hunt, too - a home depot bag, a screw, a nail, a glue stick... silly things like that.
OR
A halloween party - with games, prizes, bobbing for apples and from the craft/thrift store things to "make" costumes for the day....

have a skating party at a roller rink with pizza-chips-pop-cake and ice cream....kids will love it..let them do the limbo at the rink...and a pinata with candy in it......God bless
