you fear that the prayer might end up in the devil's hands?

I don't know that they feel that it will end up in the devil' hands - I have never actually heard that. But they do believe that god only listens to prayers that are done "correctly". Which means using the name Jehovah.

I know let's let the bible answer this:

“If you ask the Father for anything he will give it to you in my name.” (John 16:23)

Jesus also said: “No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

If you don't ask the Father,
If you don't ask in Jesus' name, you probably won't be heard by God.

Does God make exceptions? Yes,

Usually it is when someone is asking get to know Him.

(1 Peter 3:11-12) . . .. 12 For [the] eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their supplication; but [the] face of Jehovah is against those doing bad things.”

No you don't have to use Jehovah's name in every prayer

But all prayers should be directed to Him alone, in the name of Jesus, our High Priest.

Not Exactly.
Lemme put it like this......
One day speaking to 1 of my brothers,
who plays/ed D&D,
I told him the how & why we use His personal name.
Then I asked him,
in the game D&D
is there 1 just 1 character
whom does NOT Know the name of his god or diety?
He said: and I quote......
"No, or else how would you know whom u r praying to!"
"Ah! Ha!" I said, "That Right There Is Why we Use His Name!"
(also, bc He had it recorded in the Scriptures,
for use by His followers)

Do You know WHOM You are praying to,
w/out using His name?

Do You Know For a Certainty,
that your prayers are being heard
by the one true God, YHWH?
Without using His name?

Whom are your prayers directed to?

In just using the title god,
your prayers could go anywhere,
to anyone...any god.

Even Satan the Devil is called a god.

So, no, literature by Jehovah's Witnesses has never suggested such a thing (to my knowlege), nor is it a popular belief among them informally, nor do I personally believe it.

In fact, I'd never heard of this idea before you asked.

Using God's own personal name does help you feel a closer and more personal relationship with him, though. Imagine always speaking to your best friend and calling her "Friend." It would be accurate, but kinda awkward.

Such a concept smacks of superstition. Jehovah's Witnesses are not superstitious.

No.

Jehovah's Witnesses simply believe the bible to teach that Almighty Jehovah, God the Father, prefers to be addressed by His personal name. Intentionally refusing to do so demonstrates disrespect, but not necessarily demon worship.

You really have Jehovah in your mind, why is that, do you have a guilty conscience?

To whom should we pray? Jesus taught his followers to pray to “our Father in the heavens.” (Matthew 6:9) Our prayers, then, must be directed only to Jehovah God. However, Jehovah requires that we acknowledge the position of his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus was sent to the earth to serve as a ransom to redeem us from sin and death. He is the appointed High Priest and Judge. ( Hebrews 6:20) Hence, the Scriptures direct us to offer our prayers through Jesus. He himself said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) For our prayers to be heard, we must pray only to Jehovah through his Son.

God opened up a new approach to himself in prayer. Such earlier servants of God as the psalmist David prayed directly to Jehovah. (Psalm 4:1; 17:1; 55:1; 102:1)

For prayers to be acceptable to God, then, they must be addressed to Jehovah God through his Son, Jesus Christ. That is, they must be said to God in the name of Jesus.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:9 "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified"

Jesus is the son of the most high in Luke 1:32 "This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High;"

and his name is Jehovah in Psalms 83:18 "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah,
You alone are the Most High over all the earth"

If you send a letter without the name of the people you want to reach, do you think the letter will reach the one you send the letter ?

I don´t think so.

If Jesus command to sanctify the name of his father, then why you don´t want to obey Jesus, Do you love him, obey him, remember John 14:21 "He that has my commandments and observes them, that one is he who loves me."
