My dad loves bloodhounds and me and my brother were asking if we could get one and he said he will think about it.

They are very, very easy-going, laid back dogs who are great with kids. However, the breed has a pretty short life span. You also need to check out breeders carefully and choose one who does all the health checks on their breeding stock.
Bloodhounds, like all the scent hounds, are a challenge to train because obedience just isn't their thing. However, with a little creativity, patience and consistency, they can be trained, too.

I think so. I have a bloodhound mix, and she is quite loyal. I have read up on them in the past, and here is a link for you to read up on them. I would love a blood hound if I could have another dog. I think that they are wonderful pets! You can also try looking at the american bloodhound society web page.

yes there are also they are bred for hunting they are gentle and caring with children. they are also goo companions and grate guard dogs
