Zippity I haven't any idea of how many men abuse the phones as you have stated but am very aware that there are plenty out there that do. There are whole web sites devoted to just pics of upskirts (where someone has taken a pic of female up her skirt without her knowledge). Like yourself I am not certain of how they operate these camera's or phones but some of the time it is at a table with the girl sitting down. Certainly a lot of these pics are probably posed but I'd be willing to gamble that those one would only be in the 20 - 25% range. I also believe that this is quite a heavy charge if people are caught taking such pics. If there was no market for these type of pictures then they wouldn't be for sale or on the public domain, so it appears pretty evident that there are lots of men willing to pay to look at ladies panties or lack of at times. Pretty figgin sick society we live in now a days and the takers of these pics just prove that point.

Actually, they are kind of sneaky. You can set the camera so it doesn't make a noise when you take a picture, and turn the flash off. You can just hold your phone out like you're texting or something and actually take a picture without anyone noticing. It's not hard to believe there are people taking advantage of the subtlety, what with all the pigs in this world.

Imagine:
Its 8 in the morning in NYC, you're tired as all fudge. You're looking cute in a miniskirt for school. You're trudging up the stairs at a really busy subway station, and its rush hour.
And snap. You get upskirted, And you had no clue.
Its not that difficult to do in the right setting.
Most of these events happen in super crowded places during the rush hours of the day. Its more of a city-life thing. The sound gets turned off most of the time, but even if it doesn't most of us are completely unaware.

Oh it's true. There was a segment about it on TV once, it was really scary. Camera's in camera phones are getting better, so you can take pics from further away, so you won't even know if you're being spied on. Try not to wear mini skirts, your business might be on the internet.

It's true. I've seen it, but in a noisy busy environment like a night club it's less noticeable. I have an acquaintance (not a friend) who was 86'd from two clubs for doing it - and my guess is that those were just the two times he got busted. I always thought he was creepy anyway.

I was actually in a store once and saw an arm reach out from under a clothing display and take a pic of a lady standing by it. The best part was she was store security and they nailed him. Creep.

What if they're in a loud place where the girl can't hear, or turn the sound down on their camera phone?
