They're around. But the nice guys I know are gay.

No, not all guys are idiots. Guys are just "put together" differently because of a combination of natural design and environmental factors. Not only do they have a different body but also a different brain (yes, they actually have one but use it differently).
Many times, a guy will behave a certain way in response to signals you give out. So if your signals are vague or confusing, a guy will be very hard put to figure out what exactly is the response you expect and may likely behave contrary to your expectation. This is very true if the guy is your age or even a few years older. Partly because of conditioning, girls attain emotional maturity earlier than guys do. Guys kick in years later, and so in the in-between years are complete klutzes when it comes to girls. Make that a major consideration when considering of going into a steady relationship.
Nice ones left? Sure there, but they're married! I heard someone once say, "Men are like parking slots--the good ones are already taken, and the ones that are available are for the handicapped."
Frustrated? Lower your expectations. Or wait until you're of legal age and date an older man.
Or look elsewhere. You'll only find monkeys in a banana grove.

Yes, there are nice guys left, and I'd like to think I'm one of them, but I am not about to start defending myself or attempting to convince you how I'm different from other guys because we collectively don't deserve that (no more than women deserve to be vilified by some scorned and bitter guy with an ax to grind). May I suggest that addressing the forest is a little too vast an undertaking for you; perhaps you'd find the answers you seek addressing a single tree (metaphorically speaking).
The fact is, we've all been burned and met our fair share of people who didn't get "us". Are they all idiots? Maybe a few, but mostly it's just the luck of the draw. Do you have any specific questions for this nice guy when you find him?

I ask myself a similar question about women. Are there no decent sincere women anywhere? Is it too much to ask. ?
Back to your question. Women generally are not interested in nice decent guys. They ignore them. They go for the others. Hence high divorce rate and unhappy marriages. Most nice decent guys dont bother any more. They are not gay just give up the effort. They will not come to you. You have to really look. Now thats not a woman trait, or is it? So you need to look and look. Watchcarefully. He may be closer than you think.

Aside from the fact that I am old enough to be your grandfather, I would like to think that I have always been a nice guy. The nice guys 'are' out there, they are just not the bragging, hangout at the bar hulks that most people think of, they are more into intellectual pursuits than in fine tuning how much beer can you drink while standing on your head and humming another one bites the dust. But this is just my opinion.

Girl Im wondering the SAME thing. They say the good guys are either taken or they are gay. But I believe there are nice guys out there they just think that women want bad boys. Unfortunately nice guys finish last. The guy Im with now is STILL legally married but seperated so in a way he is taken. Its hard finding single guys who dont have kids and that are nice.

Well yes there is nice guys! Ofcourse is hard to find a guy that is nice, good looking and smart and has a great body! I am one of them and I am not been erogant I just go for what people tell me that I should start modeling! I am an artist, musician, athletic and a writter. of course there are where are you looking? try this, write a list of characteristics that you would find in a "nice " guy then from that list, consider where such a person would be found. he could be the nondiscript shy guy you pass by every single day and still haven't noticed. Nice guys come in all shapes and sizes, don't rule any of them out.

I'm not tooting my own horn but I'm a nice decent guy , I can even give references from girls that have told me so..I think there are a lot of them around but girls have dated and met so many idiots that they don't know who to trust when they actually do meet a trully nice guy...

Not all quys are idiots. There actually some nice guys that are gorgeous. I know because I married one. It took me a long time to find him, but I am glad I did.
