An athiest believes that everything in life is based on logic and reason. An athiest spends their whole life trying to "figure it out"

Christians think that it's impossible to "figure it out" because God says that no one will ever understand. Christians base their beliefs on faith, not reason.

So athiests, I say to you, do not condemn Christians for not being able to "prove" Christianity. God made it impossible, so that only those with faith can feel His presence and accept His word.

Christians, I say to you, have mercy on the nonbelievers. Do not hate them. You see they are not narrow-minded. You see they are lost. It's not your job to find them. It's God's. So pray for the Lord to use you. Give up yourself so that the Lord may work through you. Be an example and don't push others away.

Know that Christians and athiests are sinners. When saved, Christians don't become perfect and shouldn't be held to those standards. Christians should know they sin. Don't be hypocritical.

Ok, a atheist would call you ignorant, and you would call him a sinner.Either way seems to be the same difference

Obviously atheists don't go to church. Then there's also things like praying before eating, sleaaping etc. Generally Christians are more likely to attend group activities related to their religion, like Christian youth groups. Most atheists pretty much just live life without really making a big deal about their life views (well except on the internet).

I don't think you can lump all atheists together in the fashion you do, or that you can lump all Christians together the way you do. Many atheists believe there's more to life than logic and reason; not all atheists are alike. I've met many Christians who believe that science will find answers. In all my years in high school and college, I actually didn't have any science instructors who weren't Christians. Furthermore, I haven't met any Christians considered themselves truly free of sin.

Refrain from the stereotypes, and try this on as a new sermon:

"Who are you? I know there's so much more than a religion to you, and I'd like to know."

Where have you been, an atheist is, one that does not believe in God. they don't believe that a master creater (God), created every thing. True Christians are the followers of Jesus Christ,(that's where the name came from, they were first called 'the way'). True Christians love every one, with out exceptions. Hate is not a part of there life. When you become a christian, and except Jesus Christ as your savior, you are now living the life of Jesus did his. and you should strive to become holy, as Jesus was holy.

Your first assertion is false.

Atheists hold that there are good reasons for holding that god does not exist. Few of those reason get displayed or examined here.

Theists, of which Christians are a part, hold that there are good reasons to believe that god exists. Likewise, those reasons are seldom displayed or examined here.

It is relatively rare for Christian to provide good reason for belief.

I have yet to see a good question that might lead to a list of good arguments from the atheist perspective.

those have to be some of the biggest stereotypes I've ever seen. your motives are unknown to me, and I don't particularly care all that much.

"an atheist believes that everything in life is based on logic and reason". buddhist are atheists who burn incense for luck. being an atheist does not mean one doesn't believe in the supernatural. and the supernatural is based on faith.

logic and reason are subject to the mind of the individual. where as a self-existant singularity of energy exploding may make sense to one, a self-existant omni-scient/potent/present being may make sense to another. logic for one says "I don't know where the big bang came from and I don't need to in order to believe it happened", and one says contrary. logic for another may be "I do not fully comprehend the dimmensions of eternity and I do not need to in order to believe it exists", and another says contrary

a "sinner" is one who's practice is to sin. a sinner's nature is to sin, inevitably. one is not a sinner, will not sin inevitably. for example (and of course this is my point of view based on the Bible) the Bible says "if you sin", not "when you sin", denoting that a Believer does not have sin as an inevitable occurance. it is in theory possible to live a life sinlessly after one is saved. true, we are not physically or soulishly perfect. we are works in progress. but sin is subject to opportunity. if you can recognize every opportunity and can react properly with the right motive(s), you can avoid sin.

I for one am not a sinner

i have to agree with you. and the whole "faith and no reason" thing i have to disagree with...because faith is 90% of christianity, and the rest is studying and how God proves and reveals himself.........so which one are you? christian or atheist?

No. An atheist does not believe in gods. Everything else you wrote about atheists is broad sweeping conjecture.
