dreammoods.com is a pretty good site to learn definitions of the various symbols, but dream interpretation is more than just finding out what one person thinks a symbol means, though, whether you learn a definition of a symbol from a website, a book, or your own personal "dictionary", dream interpretation is alot more than that, it involves looking at characters, attitudes, symbols, looking for a story line, and sometimes, having a "feeling", or an intuition from the dream, there is way more to it than that, it's not enough to look at a symbol or two, it's about summing up how the symbols interact with each other to tell a story about a person.....That is where dream interpretation becomes more than looking up someone else's definitions, it is an art.....

You will get some good answers to this question, but keep in mind that you are the best person to examine what your dream symbols mean.
For instance, a computer programmer may dream of a spider and web and it would symbolize the world wide web.
A suspicious person may dream of a spider and web and it would symbolize a web of lies.
A writer may dream of a spider and web symbolizing weaving a web of intrigue!
Then there are arachnophobes who may just be confronting a fear in their dream time.
Bottom line, use your meaning first. If a translation doesn't fit to you, it probably isn't the right one.
