Could be due to a repetitive strain injury. The fact that it doesn't tingle when you don't use it indicates that it's due to overuse of that portion of your hand. It could be the beginnings of carpal tunnel syndrome.

The tingling and falling asleep of hands or any limbs is due to lack of circulation. Not exactly preventable during pregnancy. Most of your blood flow it going to your stomach at this time. You could try some walking- 30 mins per day and get your arms moving as well. That may help slightly. As for swelling it sounds like water retention. Why you see this happening increase the amount of water you're drinking, the more you drink the more your body is encouraged to flush out because then your body gets used to having enough fluids at all times rather than holding on to water just in case.

You should really go to a doctor about the tingling because it could be something going on with the nerves in your fingers, you should make an appointment with a Nero. Doctor.
