Recent break-up, what is he thinking?? Help!?

My boyfriend and I just recently broke up. We argued a bunch and he didn't trust me (very controling). While we were breaking up he kept telling me that Ill never find a guy that will love me half as much as he does and always will. Well after we broke up, we got into a fight because one of his friends wouldn't stop bothering me. So we stopped talking for a little while. Well Ive known this kid for 13 years and still want to be his friend because our families are close. So today I texted him said we should act like we never dated and just be really close friends. Well he kept getting pissed off and saying bye. Then he gave me some sarcastic comment about "who's phone are you texting from? your boyfriends?" because my number had to be changed since he last spoke to me. I kept being polite and funny, and he was like.. I'm going out with my cousins.. talk to you later. How do I take this? He's being mean and I just want to work on a friendship.

No you still want to love him, you still want to feel for him, and deep down you still have HOPE that he'll change and be that man you need. Not healthy at all, your hiding your true feelings because for one YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GENIUNE RELATIONSHIP!!! And two you don't know what your worth (which is why you don't know how to have a geniune relationship, see how that works), you let him emotionally and mentally abuse you and you still want to be friends? No wonder he's mean to you, he proubly thinks your just naive and easy to manupilate and has lost interest in you. What ever the reason doesn't matter, the fact that you think this is worth you does. Don't sell yourself short hunnie becasue only YOU pay the cost, ooo and everyone who loves you, but apparetly you don't care about them, just the ones that don't......
