sheriff helper?

isnt there a thing were u can go and help a sheriff at age around 13 or 14
like help the sheriff do things
i live in san diego california

You will have to wait a couple of years, but it sounds like being a police cadet is what you want to do...

go to your nearest substation and ask, they should have a youth program of some sort.
