withen the first 3 days after you get him home. Let your Vet look over his vaccine records and decide on when to give his nx set of vaccines. And 2, if the puppy have a heart murmur or anything else you may need to notify the breeder about.

The breeder we have always worked with gives us 48 hours to take a new puppy to the vet to get a general checkup. This is part of her guarantee for the puppy. That way, if the puppy has anything noticeably wrong and the vet catches it, the breeder will take the puppy back and refund the money.

At our clinic we charge $70 for a puppy package. This includes an office visit, physical exam, a Distemper/Parvo vaccine(7-way shot), and a dose of dewormer. Every vet is different on prices, don't be afraid to ask around! Now every vet will/SHOULD recommend coming in starting at 6 weeks old, every 3-4 weeks until they're 16 weeks old. This will help protect them from parasites, and especially parvo. Good Luck with you and your new puppy. I like the name Sunni for anything blonde! Happy Holidays!

In Virginia you have 7 days to take to the vets and if the vet finds it unhealthy then you can get intouch with the breeder or petshop and they give you 3 chooices. check into your local laws of selling pets.
Do realize that a lot of diseases don't show u[p u for 7-10 days so I would wait for at least 5 days unless you notice a problem before hand

Typically, you would take a new pup to the vet within a couple of days to make sure there's no problems. If the vet finds anything wrong with him, you contact the breeder immediately to get it resolved.

Best day is the same day you get the puppy, if you can get him there that day. The sooner the better so he can be dewormed and checked for any major health problems.
Good luck.
