I am trying to see if I can find out the number of New York service men who gave there lives to protect our country (In the line of duty in ALL of the armed forces). I appreciate any and all help I can get.Thank You.

BTW, the base locations have no relevance to the number of New York residents who have died on active duty. I was born and raised in NYC, spent 25 years in the Navy and was never stationed in that state. Use the link provided below. Then use the scroll under the U.S. casualties link and get the total deaths by home state. There have been 164 members from New York State who have died in Iraq. You can get all of their names off the source I provided.
