How long should you jump rope each day for loosing, toning, and get a good cardio work out? Someone said that if you do it for 30 straight minutes you would start getting results in a week and a half, but I don't think I can jump that long. (lol) How long should I jump a day, and when will I start seeing what results?

Also, will jumping rope get rid of excess belly fat, love handles, etc? Just curious.

you definetly don't want to skip for 30 minutes straight. the goal is to get the heart rate high but not too high for too long. you want to skip for 30 seconds then walk in place for 30 seconds. try to shoot for 10 minutes and work you way slowly up to 20 by adding one more minute of skipping/walking every week or some interval like that.
