Hey I'm helping my sis, Kathryn, run for class rep (Class Prez) and she needs help thinking of a speech. She's 10 & in 5th grade. Help on her speech! A whole speech would be ah-mazingly great! But just little parts are great too! Her slogan is:
Vote 4 Kathryn Leffew! Imagine What she could do!

So, what are some of the issues of a 5th grader in her school........ what does she want to accomplish as a class representative?.........work her speech around serious issues..... such as equality, no more harassment, bullying... those kinds of issues........ anything else is trite and makes her the suck up.........but keep to serious issues......student related

What are some problems that kids wants changed? Bad food? Broken or old equipment? What is she willing to do as Class President? What changes can she make? Whose help will she need? What benefits will they get by voting for her or electing her as president?

her speech needs to be based on her beliefs about what she feels she can do for her class, not what a bunch of adults think she should say. She's far too young to be that political!!
