I am selling my 360 as it is a piece of CRAP! It scratches and ruins my games and Microsoft do not help at all. Anyway I am looking into buying a PS3 now and wondered if there are any problems I should know about? Any annoying things such as the 360's Red Ring of Death and how it scratches discs. Please all PS3 owners tell me if your PS3 has given you any trouble?
Thank You
Jakey

I have had my PS3 for about 5 months now and I have never had any problems with it. I keep it running almost 24 hours a day because I let folding@home run when I'm not playing. Has never overheated. It has never scratched any of my discs, it doesn't skip. It runs just like it was brand new. I think you are smart getting rid of the 360. It is the only system that is certifiably crap. Check the makers of the thing. They have admitted. I think you are making a good decision.

You're doing the right thing by selling that 360. I haven't had any problems with my PS3. I've had Motorstorm since February and their isn't one single scratch on the disc, disc scratching won't be an issue with the PS3 because the PS3 sucks in the disc like most built in car CD players do. The PS3 does not over heat, but usually, the PS3 gets pretty warm while operating, but this is normal because the PS3 was built to last. Welcome to the PS3 family!!

No problems what-so-ever for me. The PS3 has a special feature that shuts down your PS3 if it overheats too much, which probably wont ever happen since the PS3 doesnt over heat much anyway, so your safe on saying it wont blow up. Also the PS3 doesnt have a disc tray so it wont scratch your discs like the 360.

I love mine, has just as many good games and exclusives as the 360.

I would definetly get the PS3 if you dont like your 360.

you're doing the perfect ingredient by ability of promoting that 360. i haven't had any problems with my PS3. i've got had Motorstorm considering the fact that February and their isn't one single scratch on the disc, disc scratching isn't an argument with the PS3 simply by fact the PS3 sucks interior the disc like maximum in-built motor vehicle CD gamers do. The PS3 does no longer over warmth, yet many times, the PS3 gets exceptionally heat whilst working, yet that's conventional simply by fact the PS3 became built to final. Welcome to the PS3 family contributors!!

We have had ours since December...And since the folding at home to find a cure for cancer started in march our ps3 has been running 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have had no problems with the 60gig to date...When we are not playing games or watching movies or surfing the net we run the folding at home for a cure for cancer program...

i have both systems. no problems with any of them. the ps3 can get a little warm at times, but nothing drastically to where it'll melt down and break down. other than that.......nothing wrong with it.
