Be careful re-dyeing your hair right after a perm. It can leave you bald. Particularly if you are only coloring your bangs. This is one of the weakest areas of the hair (sides also) Wait about two weeks - at least - and then do a color test to see if the hair is able to take the color. Don't brush or comb too hard afterwards. Make sure you condition your hair and keep it moisturized. Just use caution.

If you're using a rinse, right away.

Using a permanent color, if you know that your hair can handle it, 1-2 weeks.

If you have a couple $$ get a quick rinse (maybe $5 tops) & you can put it in right away, it will last long enough that by the time it fades out, you're good to go with the permanent.

Good luck!

On the box of dye, it always (and I mean always) says "wait at least 48 hours before or after chemically treating your hair." I would wait like a week, or two.
