Whilst partly agreeing with your sentiments one must bear in mind that Tony Blair was a major driving force behind the invasion of Iraq and commited UK forces based on what, at best, was seriously flawed information. This information was then selectively filtered to ensure acceptance by Parliament and the majority of the British public. It was made public that prior to presentation the report presented to Parliament had words added or omitted to "gee up" the report in favour of invasion.
Rightly, or wrongly, our troops are stuck in Iraq for the long haul alongside America and the other allies. Believe me, I didn't agree with the invasion and I hate Tony Blair with a vengeance for what he did and the fact he walked away scot free with no repercussions. But our troops have a job to - including my son.
The majority of people in the UK must still be in support of the invasion based on the fact that Labour keep getting voted back into power. If they were not Labour would have lost the last election.
Tony Blair, far from being the Middle East peace envoy (what a joke), should be sat in a prison cell awaiting trial for misleading both the British & American public and costing the lives of so many military and civilian personnel based on total bare faced lies!!

War!! I believe they should all go home!! I thank all the soldiers for their effort you are my hero's but what more can be done ?? How many more of you have to die for Bush's cause !! I have a friend in Iraq and all he wants to do is come here and be free of the blood shed !!! He has lost so much and I'm amazed he hasn't lost his mind!! Everybody seems to think that all the people of Iraq are terrorists which is so far from the true most of them are scared and live day to day just trying to make a living and feed their families!! We sit here in the lap of luxury and complain about what we don't have well we have alot more than they will ever have that's a fact!! When they bombed the towers it became a war of the world not just the Americans !! They tried to bomb your airport these are the fanatics that we are at war with not the everyday Iraqi people!! They can't afford to feed themselves so were are they going to get the money to create weapons of mass destruction? Most of the people in Iraq are scared to death of the fanatics and are on survival mode!! Bush wants to send in more troops but nobody wants to go so pulling out the troops from the UK isn't going to make it go away the Taliban will just take over again !! As you can tell I have mixed feelings about this on one hand I want it to stop but how?

Write to your MP. That's about all you can do. The number's in the phone book. Tell of your disgust at the unjust warS. You should also consider reading more, just to improve your spelling.

Well, sure you could do that, but when, in the future, your country came under attack by an outside threat, then would you also expect the Americans to come to your aid?
And, if we didn't come to your aid, would you then criticize us for not helping you deal with this threat to your well being?

Why should only "your boys" go home? I am grateful for all the help we get from people of other countries over here. It shows that we are not alone. Plus I am making some good friends as well. We are all human, if anyone should go home then everyone should go home.

Yup! Time we stopped pandering to American greed. Our boys die, so Americans can live like the bunch of d***heads they are. Before they decide that Iran, N.Korea or Pakistan is the new menace to society, we should ditch them and leave them to wallow in their own filth.
