I got a treble clef on the back of my neck when I was 18 and at 20, I seriously regret it. I regretted it the moment I stepped into the tattoo parlor parking lot. Luckily for me it's impossible for me to see my tattoo without a mirror and serious neck craning.
Think about it before you do it. I know they're appealing, but they're also pretty unnecessary.

the only regrets that i have about tattoos i have gotten is that at first i didn't educate myself. i didn't know that there is a difference in tattoo quality and that not all artists are talented and some are phenomenal. tattoos have come a long way since i got my first. it was my name in korean, my mom is from korea so it wasn't just random, but still i think getting your own name tattooed on you is stupid... that tattoo has since been covered up.
it was on my back and i was 18 years old when i got it. over all i think tattoos are a wonderful thing when they are done by the right person for the right reason. i have since found the right people to do my tattoos and will always have a good reason for getting one and not "just because i can"

Hi, I got my first tattoo when I was 25 (i'm 32 now) and do not regret it. I have a rose with a dragonfly on my lower back so it is easy to cover. No one can see it unless I show it to them. I plan on getting another tattoo soon in memory of my Grandfather who recently passed away. I think I will get it on my lower shoulder so it is not easily seen unless I want it to be. I love tatoos as long as someone is not covered in them.

i dont necessarily regret it but sometimes i wish i had thought of a more elaborate design for it.....i got a shooting star followed by smaller shooting stars on my left inner hip, the spot almost on your stomach and its black and white. and i had just turned 18, now grant it i am only 19 now, so it was almost a year ago that i got it, i thought of something i liked, which is stars, and i wanted to get it bc i was excited about being 18, lol....plus the tattoo that i have always wanted is very very big and the tat artist in my town said he didnt want to do such a big piece on such a small girl like me bc i didnt know what kind of pain to expect yet, so the stars was kind of an introductory star for me...............then i got wings on my back, lol.......dont get something you will regret, make sure you will like it years and years later....

I got a tattoo on my ankle that said " I love Tom". I was in my late twenties and very shortly later I realized I didn't love Tom. My friends suggested I just have "Dick and Harrry" written under it!!! LOL!!!! I later just had a go-over done to delete the Tom!!! 10 years later I got the "masks" symbol for comedy and tragedy on my right shoulder......by then I had gotten sober and realized that, that WAS exactly the way my life had gone up til' then. I've been clean and sober ever since...rock on......

Nope. It is a constellation inside my hip. I got it when I was 16 with consent.
I love it even more as I get older.
