No. There are religions that do not believe that Jesus is God and people sometimes think these religions are Christian, but if you do not believe that Jesus is God, then your religion is not Christianity.

No. Jesus is God. If Jesus was not God, then he could not provide salvation. Think about it-man cannot save mankind. Only God can. One connection I make is in Exodus 3:14, God is revealed to be "I AM", and Jesus uses this phrasing several times to declare his deity. He is simply a person in the holy trinity. The Holy Spirit is also God. The holy trinity consists of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
I am glad you used the term "true Christian". That is what a true Christian is-one who believes in Jesus-that he died for our sins. A true Christians is one who responds to Jesus' death by repenting of all sins and putting their faith in Jesus. Hope this helps!

A Christian is a person that believes in the new testament. The people I know say that Jesus is the son of god. When I ask them if they think Jesus is God himself they say no. Yet they accept the trinity. The preacher told me Jesus is God who made the earth. I cannot accept this. The Jesus that we know as the son of God could not have lived as he did had he been God himself.

To deny Jesus is God is to agree with the pharisees that he was a blasphemer, to consider Isaiah a false prophet and more. John told us that the spirit of the anti-christ wants us not to believe Jesus is God, and conforming with the image of that spirit is not something a Christian has any business doing.

No... that's the most basic point of Christianity. Jesus is the human manifestation of God. He was sacrificed so that we all could have the opportunity to ask for forgiveness for our sins and go to Heaven.
If you don't believe that, you're not a Christian.
That's like saying "Am I a true feminist if I don't believe women should have equal rights?"

No. If you call yourself a Christian, yet you do not see Christ as the Son of God, then, you cannot accept Him as your Savior; therefore, how can Jesus save you if you do not believe who he is? So, no, you cannot be a Christian if you do not believe that Jesus is and always was a part of the triad of God.
Christianity, is based upon the belief in Jesus Christ!

I did not become a Christian when I understood all doctrine taught by the church. I became a Christian on the day I became aware of my sin and turned my life over to God and accepted His gift of salvation through His only Son.
It is not necessary that you understand all things of the Kingdom before entering, for it is impossible to see the Kingdom until you have been saved. Only by the leading of the Holy Spirit will you know truth.

No. Because the term "Christian" by its very definition means a believer in Christ. That means believing in all that scripture and Jesus said about himself, including that he IS God.
This is why the religious leaders of his time wanted to have him killed for blasphemy. He claimed to be God, saying several times that HE was the fulfillment of certain prophecies concerning the Messiah, and that HE was the fulfillment of all the law, and that HE is the "I AM."

Well, the word "Christian" comes from the word "Christ". So if you don't believe in Jesus Christ then you are not a Christian.
