Only their church members will be saved, The Watchtower, Feb, 15, 1979, p. 30.

The above article is a direct contradiction of Scripture!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through ME. John 14:6

NOR IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees(Watchtower), hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matt. 23:15

No. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the organization is used by God to teach about God and spread the word of God to others. Also, humans are being used and humans are not perfect and sometimes make mistakes. If that happens changes are made(Matthew 24:45-47; Proverbs 4:18)

Learning about God and Jesus, turning from your sins(repentance), obeying God(turning around); making a dedication to him to serve him all your life and symbolizing that by water baptism leads to salvation.

The way to stay on the path of salvation is to stick to the organization God is using to teach and preach(John 17:3; Acts 3:19; 1 John 5:3)

As to complying with everything the organization says: Witnesses believe God is using it, so they trust that they won't be told to do anything wrong. They do not view it with an attitude that they have to "watch out" for bad teachings.

Of course, the organization might put out some information certain individuals differ on or do not understand, but they would wait on Jehovah for a clarification and their view on the belief, requirement in question and their attitude would not be defiant or dogmatic.

I have been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years now and there have been times where I have had a different view on things or have not understood them. But through it all I have learned to wait and see what other information is given. I have noticed that these things have been clarified and, in some cases, there has been viewpoint changes.

All Witnesses have been taught that when new information, publications explaining the Bible are made available, it is the responsibility of each Witness to thoroughly look over the information, all scriptural references. If they have a question they are to do research. If it is still bothering them, they go to the elders and ask them about it.

To answers that question, you need to know some basic bible truths.
A person cannot decide the way you express your question.
First of all Professed Christians should know that the bible is God's word, and it is inspired of God. 2 Timothy 3:16. It should be used to guide you to bible truths which in turn will give you the understanding that directs you to God's organization.
Every Religious Organization on earth proclaims they have the only way. The one who has God's favor will be the one that is doing his will now on earth, this means that all who belong to it are in agreement earth wide in all lands and islands of the sea. They will be proclaiming the Kingdom of his Son. They will be teaching people the truths of the bible. They will expose the teachings of men, as false and use the scriptures to prove these things. True Christians follow Jesus footsteps and do what he commands at Mathew 28:18,19.
From this you can look for yourself and determine if God has an earthly organization and which one it is. It is also visible by the love that these people have for each other no matter who they are or where they live earth wide. They are individually in agreement with God's word. They also have beat their swords into plow shears and make war no more.
Is it true a person must come to a JW Organization for salvation? You decide.

Recently a clergyman in Brooklyn, New York, obtained a copy of the book The Truth That Leads to Eternal Life. He was so impressed with the chapter dealing with prayer that he used the book to teach members of his church this chapter in a special meeting. Later he was asked by one of them, “Are you teaching us out of those Jehovah’s witnesses’ books?”

He replied: “It is the truth, isn’t it? When you want Sunday-school literature, you get it from several sources, don’t you? Well, Jehovah’s witnesses teach the truth. Furthermore, when you see Jehovah’s witnesses with the Watchtower magazine, you ought to take it, because they print the truth.”

Salvation is through Believing and trusting Christ to be your savior...If your Organization does not even know the deity of Christ, is seems to me that you can not come to saving Grace.
