my stepdad said he got a software thing where he can see my history of everything i do on my computer from his computer. i dont know if he was kidding or not. is there such thing?

yes and no. he can use remote assistance, which lets him control ur comp. from his, and view your history that, but you must consent, unless he did when u werent looking. otherwise, idk, but i dont think there is a prog that lets u do that. if ur comp is on a network (not a wlan, a real network) then yes, there are multiple programs that let him do that. but another way is he doesnt need a prog - just connect to the wifi or ethernet, and check it via the modem - it gets all the pages ever viewed on all computers that use that interent from the last 7 days.

Yep. The software doesn't access your computer to check your history, all it does it watch the network to see where a particular connection is going.

It won't work the program he probably has records every key stroke that is typed.
