Thanks for all your thoughts. I wanted to make people who are very sure of their faith think. Maybe they'd be just as zelous for another God if He'd put them down on His world with a different family in a different place.

Of course. Most people are brainwashed into their religion as children by their parents. It takes a great deal of effort to get out of it and most people don't bother.

That's always been an excellent argument . God knows the heart . Most Christians will tell you that they are lost people who need to find Christ because the bible says " No man comes through God but by Jesus " It's honestly the one bible verse in the whole entire book that troubles me . My hang up , so to speak . I can't believe that a person is " lost " because of the area he was born out of . If God wants to touch his heart in his own way , he will . And bless that person for accepting his gift .

If i was in india i would most likely be hindu or Sikh.
If i was in Iraq i would be a muslim etc. etc.
But i'm in America and i'm a Wiccan (kinda)

well, i would have started out as another religion, but i likely would have found logic at some point and would still be an atheist.

Depends on where I suppose. Christianity is pretty widespread though, so while it may not necessarily be the majority in some countries, the opportunity is there.
