Yes, I agree except that Mike Tyson isn't on the list. I think we should put Tyson on the 10th spot and take Ezzard Charles out of the list. Tyson, despite his self-destructive ways that cost him perhaps a spot among the top 3, deserves to be among the great heavyweights of all time. From the beginning, Tyson was a prodigy with phenomenal talent. He had amazing speed for a heavyweight and frightening power in both fists. He was a fundamentally sound fighter with that brutal animal instinct inside the ring. Most of all, he single-handedly kept the division alive from the mid-80's well into the 90's.

Sonny Liston will never make a best of list. His wins were questionable by his ties with the mafia. So long as that is there..all of his wins...and how terribly he lost to his first major challenge in Cassius Clay...will keep him out of any list.

Mike Tyson is not worthy of any best of list. His "career" prime ended when he was twenty three years. Since then anyone he has fought ranked above five he has lost to. Most of the fighters on this list have wins lasting in at least ten and twelve years.

George Foreman deserves a higher rating....for being the oldest heavyweight champion. Its noteworthy.

He has Tunney and Dempsey a little high but this is a pretty good ranking. I would put Johnson and Marciano at 3,4.

He should stick to golf, as he missed Liston and at least 2 brits.

I don't agree but if Bert Sugar says it its true. If you add up all the boxing he's watched, it's probably more time than I've actually been alive.
