hey! does anybody have the biggest breed of dog?? i do, the irish wolfhound!!! he is soooo awesome!!

The tallest dog I have at the moment is a 29" at the shoulder Saluki. Positively tiny compared to Sean, the Wolfhound I grew up with, who was 38" - YES, 38" inches at the shoulder (almost 4' tall overall).

I have a Golden Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridge back/ Great Dane/ Lab mix. I used to have a chocolate lab/ mix dog, but today he was put-down. There not a "extra-large sized" dog though...

There is the biggest, as in tallest.....and then the biggest as in weight.
Mastiffs are known as the biggest breed because they weigh the most.
IW might be the tallest, but Mastiffs are the biggest.

I have a Weimaraner!! I would love to have another big dog but he is so playful he knocks stuff off of the coffee table as it is.

big is a relative term. i had a 125 pound lab. never thought of him as a big dog but my in-laws thought he was huge.

I do, I have a great pyrenees, I use her to help guard my miniature horses. He is as big as they are!! I have pics of them if them if you want to see!
