Important to remember when using limewire....
never open a file that you have downloaded with the limewire built in media player.
always drag the file to your desktop and scan with your internet security befor opening.. and do not download any music file that is below 1400kb in size..also i know that it may be nice and cool for a lot of people out there but limewires porn movies and files are a breeding ground for all things bad..... ( virus ) etc etc

YOU ARE READING AN INTERNET SECRET.
MOST PEOPLE ARE AWARE ONLY OF
WEBSITE WWW.DOT.COM or http or Port 80.
The best source is nntp or 119
using special software not IE or Firefox browsers.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroup
Learn this and you got the world of binaries!!
mp3's, jpg, avi, audiobooks etc...
IE, Firefox etc browsers are NOT TO BE USE
As long as you are only a "leecher"
you are NOT SHARING your machine ID
to an individual or to the world.
Limewire, Napster etc will share you.
In US, I think won in a Verizon case
protecting your privacy as a user against
censorship and illegal taps.
Usenet, or the Newsgroups, has been a part of the Internet since the late 1970's. It also happens to be one of the oldest methods of sharing information and files.
Most ISP have news servers:
news.xxxxxx.net
news.xxxxxx.com
Some ISP give only with the headers/titles
and NO attachments
Then you need news services.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=newsgroup&btnG=Google+Search
I used this
They have a free 3 day trial.
Good Price and retention:

I actually quit Napster and have been trying out Yahoo Unlimited Music and I'm quite impressed.
Yahoo has a very cool jukebox player that has access to over 2 million songs including over 150 CD quality radio stations, music videos and YM Messenger music.
With Y! Music I can do searches by song titles, albums and artists, even search by genre. I usually use their 'popular' song search for various categories of songs I like. When I get albums I like, I just drag them over to my playlist in the jukeboox and walla!
Anyway, I never thought I would end-up using Y! Music but now I'm very pleased with it. If I want to actually buy legit songs to keep forever, they cost me about USD $0.79 per track.

LimeWire for those illegal blonds who dont know the difference between a lag and a virus (they barely know what those are)
iTunes Music Store for those payers who seek to buy movies, music, games, and more for your iPod and iTunes!
Yes, go to your local Target, Best Buy, Wal*Mart! You will see those $15 and $25 or $50 dollar cards to buy from the iTunes store! So why not enjoy spending a few dollars knowing what lies ahead wont be a shutdown on your computer.

I use iTunes and enjoy it. I have never had problems, get lots of free podcasts, and the speed is terrific. At only .99 a song, it is a bargain.
