I'm completely new to cooking. I bought Perdue boneless, skinless chicken breasts and i'm not entirely sure how to clean it. My mom soaks the chicken in lime, but my friend soaks his chicken in vinegar and flour...how do YOU properly clean chicken???

Hi !!!
Here you go...

Rinse chicken with cold water, inside and out, and pat dry with paper towels before preparing. To prevent cross-contamination, thoroughly clean all surfaces, utensils, cutting boards, knives and hands with hot soapy water after handling raw poultry.

More Chicken Safety Tips:

Marinating or brining? Always let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator, even for a short soak of 30 minutes.
Do not baste the cooked chicken with the same marinade: either make extra marinade and set aside a portion for basting only, or boil it for two to three minutes to kill any bacteria that might be present.
Cooked chicken should not be left at room temperature for more than two hours.
Properly handled cooked chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for two days.

Boneless and skinless pre packaged chicken is usually already washed but if you feel the need to do it again just rinse it in cold water, pat dry with kitchen roll then either marinate or cook.

I cut all of the fat trimmings off first and then soak in warm water with a bit of salt and lemon juice for about half hour. It will kill the slime and the bacteria. You can do this when the meat is fresh from the grocer and then freeze, so when you are ready to cook you don't have to worry about cleaning.

I take it out of the package it, season it and cook it in oil. No cleaning necessary.
