What is this conclusive evidence that you speak of? And why should the age of the church matter? AND how does all this mormon-bashing and saying how joseph smith was a crackpot have anything to do with whether or not mormons are christians?

And why do people get all in a tizzy about mormons? There are a lot of religions that people believe are false, why this concentration on mormonism?
Where do you get your evidence-- "Joseph Smith was a known liar" who knew? I didn't.
Oh, and mormon's don't worship Joseph Smith. He's a prophet. Just like Adam or Moses or Abraham or Jacob or.....

I think most Christians would define Christian as one who follows Christ, rather than one who just believes in Christ and would cite the common saying, "Even Satan believes in Christ."

But, it's just a technicality, and the definition, "follows the teachings of Christ," also fits Mormons.

Christianity is and always has been rife with infighting. That's just how it is. I'm an atheist, but you're Christian to me if that means anything to ya...

I personally do not believe it matters what church you belong to. To be a Christian you have to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins. My girlfriend is a born-again Mormon, my sister is not. It is not just believing there is a Jesus or God, I always believed there was a God, but I did not know Him personally. Belonging to a church does not get you to heaven, I think the mormons and JW believe this. Also there is only one Bible, no additions needed.

For some, it's because they do not know us. They do not understand us and they don't want to know and understand us.

Some cannot support their own beliefs, so they have to bring other's down. They don't care what is right, so long as everyone knows Mormons are wrong, and that's all it takes to make them happy.

Most don't account for the fact that excluding some people from being called Christian is highly hypocritical. There are hundreds of branches of Chrisitanity. They all have contridicting beliefs. Yet despite that they are Christian, yet we are not.

Some say it's because we seemingly change our doctrines. Once again, they do not understand. Nor do they see the hypocracy. Many of these said homosexuality was a sin 10 years ago, but now openly embrace it as a way of life.

And many many, see us as a threat. We are a modern age cult to them, but we're growing at a rapid rate. So the only conclusion they can come up with is that we're the evil church of the devil Christ warned about, so they feel they must fight us.

It is there way. Let them do as they please. There was an old story of Buddah I think you should consider. Buddah was walking through a mountain path with his followers when a man stood atop a hill and began to shout mean things to Buddah. Buddah continued to walk his way without paying any heed to them. The man continued to shout, and call him profane names, and even critize his teachings. Still Buddah walked, saying and doing nothing. Finally one of his followers asked him, "Why do you not do anything. Do you not hear what he's saying?" To which Buddah replied, "If you give me a gift, and I don't accept, who does it belong to?"

Let them do as they please. Our prophecies say that their efforts will be in vain. We will continue to do as we do, and do.

Oh the ignorance of bigoted people.
Joseph Smith gets his authority from Jesus Christ.
Yes we are Christians.

My dear... the fundies will always find a way to say you're wrong, no matter what. It's best you accept that some people do not want to hear, nor do they care, about what mormonism actually is to you.

Actually Mormons do not believe in Christ in the orthodox sense of Christians. Additionally, they do not even believe in God as Christianity teaches. So, regardless of the name they call themselves their faith in Christ is a perversion of Christian teaching invoking another Gospel and faith.

In Christ

they call theirself the jclds, to deceive ppl..... if not, why wouldnt they just say its the "mormon church"? its because ppl know it is a false teaching, and they use the name of the LORD, to try to move ppl in...there has been conclusive evidence to dispell the whole religion. and i dont mean like the same evidence that atheist say dispells christianity..joseph smith was a known liar...and how could a mormon be a christian if they believe this joseph smith has more authority than JESUS? its ridiculous that they think ppl will be judged by joseph smith.whats even more ridiculous, is that ppl actually believe this garbage!what they beleive is not at all biblically based... they dont believe we were created the way it tells us we were in the BIBLE... .just have a look at some of their belifs.... and the fact that is a very new religion should tell you that its not right. becuase if it were, how come its just recently( the past 100 yrs.) comin around??

They worship Joseph Smith more than Jesus, as a prophet.

But clearly, Joseph Smith was an idiot who lied about the Golden Plates and Seer Stones.
