Setfree - nowhere in the Bible does it state that the Bible is God's Word. Technically speaking, according to Christianity, Jesus is God's Word. The Bible is written by man... though it may be inspired (according to the Christian Faith) that does not mean Dictated... nor does it mean that the writers won't write with their own bias. The very book you claim is God's Word states that No one is Good.... ALL men are liars.... and even Jesus himself stated that the "pens of the scribes LIE" hhhmmm... it was scribes who wrote and copied the Bible.
The only thing that comes close to suggesting that the Bible is true is one verse that states "all scripture is inspired of God" - but when that was said, they only had the Old Testament. The New Testament wasn't written and there was no such thing as the Bible. History shows us that the books of the Bible were VOTED on - this does not sound like something God handed down and said to strictly adhere to only those books. Man decided what they Thought was what God wanted. And since the "Good Book" itself shows God "sending lying spirits" to Prophets... I'm not sure why they think the book itself is Perfect. *And I shall send a Great Delusion so that they believe a lie* What's the largest religion again?
When people equate the Bible to God's Word like that, they place a man-made thing Equal to their God.... I believe this is considered Bibliolatry, where one practically worships the Bible because they believe that is the actual Spoken Word of God. They have placed a book in the same place as an idol - those things they constantly complain about Pagans using.

The Bible is not just something it is someone and that someone is the Logos, the eternal Word of God, Jesus is the only truth.

All of life's answers and lesson can be found in one simple book. All people need to do is pick it up and read away, and they could find answers to all of life's problems. This is because it is written by God, through man.
