I don't know if I would use the word finished per say and I have not seen the fight. Liddell is not a young fighter and his defense is a problem so as he gets older and a little slower and a little easier to hit it also becomes harder for him to win and the punishment of training and fighting has started to take its toll perhaps. Not only that but the overall quality of the fighters is continuing to improve and so are their numbers. He may still be able to still fight but I suspect it will take a total makeover of his fighting style all the way down to his training program. That is very hard for a fighter to do but some fighters have done it. Only time will tell.

He'll keep fighting, but he'll never get back to the dominant spot he was once at. He can't beat Rampage, and I don't think he can win against strikers. He just doesn't cover up, and Jardine made him pay with the leg and body kicks; Rampage made him pay with a right hook to the jaw.

after seeing his fight with jardine, It's apparent he's not as quick as he needs to be for the fighting style he's had all his career. Either he changes his style into something less reliant on reflexes or he's done in the UFC. That's my opinion anyway. I think it's too bad he lost, I was hoping he'd win.

He is like 38 so what is happening is time is catching up with him. He was a great fighter but everything comes to an end. I can't see him beating Rampage, Henderson or even lesser guys like Alexandre or Jardine.

No. Just had a couple bad match ups style wise.

Put him against a submission or ground and pound guy and I'd put my money on him any day.

But his weak spot seems to be guys that are good technical strikers.

he said he wanted to fight Cro Cop, Wande, Rampage and Fedor before he calls it quits. He even said he would move up a weight class to fight Cro Cop and Fedor. Heard it on a satellite radio station.

Perhaps he should play football or participate in some other sport with positions where only defense is necessary.

He can open his own MMA training studio and make some money on his name.
