I'm only out of ideas!!

Pleas name some disadvantages ONLY of using PAINT to create and design a leaflet rather than DESK TOP PUBLISHING (DPT)

Paint can not maniuplate text. It inserts text as a block, but you can not format text and use spell check etc.

Well, if you are talking about Microsoft Paint, I think ANY program is better for making anything, except if you're a young kid and want to doodle.

I've never used Desktop Publishing before, so I can't speak about it's benefits. Paint is designed to be a very simple painting program, and although with some talent you could make some cool stuff, it's not what you would use for a professional leaflet. It's printing and formatting options are very limited, tools are very limited, and predictability is limited (getting the outcome you want). Depending on what you want to do, I would look at (I think it's called) Microsoft Publisher, or for more complex art (and more computer skill needed) Adobe Photoshop (an excellent program)!

You have to be able to draw well in paint.

you use the medium you prefer and find easiest to manipulate.
