There are tons of songs about little girls growing up and getting married, but i can't think of anything like that for guys. My brother is getting married and I was asked to put together a slide show of pictures of the bride and groom throughout the years, but I need a song to play while showing pictures of my brother. So any songs about men getting married, or just about men would be great!

I'm thinking about playing "Isnt she Lovely" for the bride, so something that goes along with that would be appreciate, but all ideas are helpful!
Thanks everyone!

How old is this groom? I think just choosing a song from the era would probably work great.

There is a country song where the guy sings about his childhood going through all the decades. One of the lines is talking about when he was a kid and got to see the stuff inside stretch armstrong but I can't for the life of me remember the title/artsist. I havn't heard it in a year or so.

The Skyhooks, an Australian band in the 1980's had a song called "All my friends are getting married". You can find it on You Tube.
You can get a mp3 version at this address http://www.1songlyrics.com/s/skyhooks/all-my-friends-are-getting-married.html

Also what about "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon or "Watching Scotty Grow" by Bobby Goldsboro
"When I Was A Boy" by Dar Williams
"Forever Young" by Rod Stewart

The following website has some good info on y0ur slide show too. It tells you how to select yopur pictures, and they have a email address if you need more answers. http://www.digitalvideoslideshows.com/createshow/planning%20guides/weddingvideoslideshows.html

Hope it all turns out well.

For the bride you could play "Daughters" by John Mayer and for the groom, "Memories" by Barbara Streisand.
Oh that's a tough one, I know so many songs but have gone blank...

Hopefully a DJ will be able to help you...

Good luck and that is a very nice thing to do:)

you may desire to do "butterfly kisses" or a "daddys little woman" song. "females in basic terms pick to have exciting" could desire to be lovable too, especially in case you have been a wilder woman ;) Im uncertain appropriate to the adult males songs nonetheless, i could ought to think of bout that for awhile lol. couples songs are in abundance nonetheless, "incredibly madly deeply' is often a robust one!

The Cat's in the Cradle?

Kind of depressing, but it works.
