Yes, but at least one time must be during the course of attending Mass.
If in danger of death, and receiving the last sacraments, communion may also be received a third time, in the same day.

I think you can go to a wedding Mass early Saturday afternoon, and then a Saturday evening "Sunday" Mass and receive communion both times. But normally not.

Laymen are not supposed to, but priests can perform up to 3 masses a day, which necessitates three communions.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
there is no limit set nor frequencey which you can partake.not by scripture anyway.

i am seriously not being disrespectful, but if you believe jesus is somehow in that wafer, what happens to him when you eat it? does he travel to your heart or soul or something, because the wafer passes through you. is this all happening on another plane of existence?
