I had a red one almost this big before I sold it and some don't weigh as much as you would think. The nice thing about them is that they are easier on your wrist since the circumference is much greater. Also they tend not to move around or swing so much so they are nice for training on throwing hard hitting combinations when you are setting down on your punches and kicks to get more power. Conversely bags that swing or move around more give you more motion and make it so that you have to adjust and move more. Also the heavier the bigger bag the more they tend to develop your punching and kicking power since they don't move much and their mass is greater which in turn gives you more resistance as you are making contact. In a good boxing or fight gym they will have some bags of various sizes and weights for these reasons.

Dear god. The only time I'll need to strike down something that big is if I ever get into a fight at the local Cake Factory.

I have absolutely no idea it looks like you'd have to either make it or custom order it, I've never seen something like that before. although it didn't look especially heavy, it didn't look like it was a lot heavier than a normal heavy bag so it probably was a lot less dense.
