well most are pre cooked but check your wrapper, i like to make sandwiches from them,
i put the ham in a big pan and warm it through for about 2-3 hours at about 250*
the length of time needed to warm it through is going to be determined by the weight of the ham.
you could get a meat thermometer and stick it in the oven if its a fresh cut that's not been precooked. then you have to get the internal temperature to 160+ to be sure its safe to eat.

Hams are very versatile, especially as leftovers.
After slicing for the main meal, keep for other meals.
Ham slices are good for breakfast, with eggs.
They can go into sandwiches for lunches.
Or be re-heated for supper another day.
Ham-bones & pieces are great in lentil soup.
Usually, baking them whole in the oven is the best way.
You'd have to calculate the time & temp from a cookbook.
Or go with 350F using a meat thermometer.
You can put it on a rack in a baking pan to collect the juices.
Vegetables can be put around it to cook at the same time:
Onions, Carrots, parsnips, Sweet or regular Potatoes, etc.
You can also glaze a ham by pouring this mixture over it:
Orange juice, Brown sugar, Mustard, Raisins, etc.
Baste with juices, several times, use foil to prevent burning.
You can affix pineapple rings with toothpicks, while cooking.

I cover the ham in foil and bake for the time required for how much the ham weighs. The first meal is sliced ham with turnips or sweet potatoes. The second meal is ham and eggs or omelettes. The third meal is ham sandwiches and finally, when you're down to the bone, you make a nice split pea soup, or lentils with ham. Once the meat is off the bone and it's been cooked in soup, the dogs get it. You can do alot with a ham.

Read the labels carefully, some of them are fully cooked and only need to be reheated. Because of their size, however, reheating can take several hours. Some of them need to be cooked so, again, read the label. It will tell you how many minutes per pound to cook it, how many pounds it weighs, and the temperature to cook it at.
These hams are a great way to feed a crowd, especially at Christmas. Put the ham into a large, deep pan (I use the disposable kinds that you can cook a turkey in). Make sure the pan is deep as a lot of juice comes out! Cover it tightly with foil, using the large size foil and sealing it around the edges.
I preheat (necessary!) my oven to 500 degrees, put the ham in, turn it down to 250 and leave it overnight. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR! The first hour or so the heat from the oven stays pretty high and then it just slowly cooks so it is important not to open the door!
The ham is good sliced for a nice meal with macaroni salad, or macaroni and cheese, and a veggie, and rolls.
The leftovers are great on a soft roll with some mayo and lettuce.
Chunks of the leftovers are great in scrambled eggs or quiche.
Chunks fo the leftovers are great in pasta salads as well.
I also like to make up a pot of fettucini or linguini. Buy a jar of Ragu Alfredo sauce, mix in chunks of ham and toss with the hot drained pasta. Add a small box of frozen little peas and toss again with a bit of grated parmesan. A great one dish meal with some crusty bread.
You can add chunks of the ham to your favorite bean soup or to a casserole of beans and rice or just rice.
It is also good mixed in with your favorite stir fry.
Finally, you can freeze the leftovers for a couple of weeks but if you have a lot of leftovers, send some home with your guests.

i take the ham and wrap it tightly in aluminum foil. i usually have a disposable aluminum pan to cook it in(make sure to support the bottom). i bake it on 350 degrees. a ten pound ham usually takes 3-31/2 hours. after baking let cool for 15-30 minutes and slice. it can be used as a main course with your favorite veggies
on the side. then use the leftovers for sandwiches or casseroles.

A picnic ham is actually an uncooked piece of pork, with a bone in and a lot of fat. They are best slow roasted with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder until tender, allow to cool and "pull" the pork off and serve with barbeque sauce on the side. Very tasty and tender.
