I live in a small suburban area in Missouri. I live on a main street with a sidewalk that many people use to walk their dogs. I see many breeds....but the most common I see is a lab. I even see a couple who have three labs that they walk every evening.

I am in Michigan and I mainly See Pomeranian and Yorkshire Terriers but the reason for that is all my friends are either breeders or owners of them
As for typical Breeds in and Around our area there is a huge variety ST.Bernard's, Schnauzers, Pugs,Maltese.Shih Tzus allot of different breeds usually smaller breed
I am in Lower Michigan I have heard up North they have the larger breed dogs

golden retriever's

Stafordshire bull terrier's
and cross breed's.

The most common breed here in Idaho are Labrador Retreivers...but then again thats the case in most places.
