Whatever your age, shaving is not a good idea. The regrowth is itchy and unpleasant, you will end up with nasty pus filled bumps where the hairs are ingrown.
Use an epilator, painful but worth it. And better to trim with a pair of nail scissors than whip the lot off. I don't know if a beauty salon will give a girl of your age a wax, so when you're older you should consider professional waxing again it is v painful but you'll be glad you didn't shave.

I shaved the first time I saw hair growing down there!
It just looked weird but I soon forgot about it when I got in trouble from my mum who thought I had been cutting my hair (on my head that is!! smile)
If your unsure about shaving I would hold off on considering other matters at least for the mo!

I think you are beign too curious to engage in sex coz your friends are already into it but remember that you should not do things because your friends are doing.Concerning the shaving of your pubic hair if it's bushy just shave it weather boyfriend or no boyfriend to keep yourself neat,it doesn't have anything to do with age...CHAO....

Its up to you at the end of the day. Pubic hair is a personal prefrance, if you dont want it, then get rid of it, if you do, then keep it. At the end of the day, sorry to be crude, but with alot of guys, "any holes a goal" as so to speak. And im pretty sure he wouldnt really be to botherd if there was hair or not!

You can do it whenever you want. I started when I was 12 and kept on doing it every since. Guys find pubic hair a big turn off and they find it sexy when its been shaved.

i think 14 is way to young to be doing ne of that. i was 16 when i lost my virginity and when i started shaving. i feel i was too young. i wasnt mature yet and i ended up getting really hurt by that guy. i say to wait for sure 2 more years if not more.

Tis up to you if ya wnna do it now great but wait for the sex and i will tell you that on yahoo answers the other week loads of girls said they prefer shaved pubes because lets be serious nobody likes hair in their gob.

I was like Casi. As soon as the hair started coming out, I got rid of it. My mom and I had a close relationship so I told her what was happening and she was fine with it. Now just leave the boys alone and you will be fine.

I shaved mine when I was 12 and started my period so it would be easier for me to clean myself up but do whatever you feel comfortable with. Just make sure you dont make any mistakes you will regret.
