For all you people who think drinking rubbing alcohol will make you go blind, GET A CLUE. You're thinking about METHANOL (aka wood alcohol which you can find in paint and hardware stores), not rubbing alcohol which is otherwise known as ISOPROPYL alcohol. They are not the same thing. However, rubbing alcohol will cause severe gastric disturbances and make you sick if you drink it, but in small quantities it's unlikely to kill or disable you. If it's okay to rub into your skin, it can't be that toxic.

I've been drinking it lately. In small doses. What I've found is that 1 oz in a pint glass of water will do the job. I drink one every 2-3 hours. I have a high tolerance to ethyl alcohol but one shot of isopropyl makes the shakes go away. It's certainly not good for you, but I still have 20/20 vision and all that. Of course, I'm in an alcoholic depression so there's always that. Anyway, it hasn't killed me but it really isn't that cool. It tastes like a hospital and I basically use it like medicine.

It would make you very sick, don't try it. Ethyl alcohol is what makes you drunk, and it's a completely different chemical structure. Rubbing alcohol is Isopropyl alcohol, and oral consumption of it can cause blindness.

well if you are stupid enough to try drinking this alcohol rather than a over the counter version thats up to you but all i can say is that you must have brain damage to be thinking about it(and if you haven't you will sure as hell have it after drinking it!!!) SO DON'T DO IT!!!! hope this answer is some help

i would think it would burn the insides of your mouth and severly burn your throat. no? getting drunK? it think you'd be passed out really, but i dont know. i wouldnt think of doing that, especially not an ointment i put on cuts. but i dunno, i think that would be poison straight up.
