of course the first 30 mins of cardio counts!! every minute counts.

Just do what you can. There's no point losing your job by jumping up at random moments and skipping or doing jumping jacks...

set yourself a workable schedule and stick to it!

Every thing you do that involves any type of exercise, including walking and 30 minutes of cardio, it all counts.

Burning any calories counts! That is not true that the first 30 minutes you don't lose weight. if you want to lose weight, burn more calories than you take in, period.

doing cardio workouts are good for burning calories and burning fat. BUT you have to warm up for atleast 30 to 45 minutes before you can actually burn fat effectively. good luck
